WSSB Track Meet

Seth participated in the WA State School for the Blind Track Meet today (he qualifies due to his large visual field cut). He placed 1st in all three of his events! I have never known about this event until this year.  His vision therapist at school recommended it and I'm glad we went. Seth really enjoyed the fact he got to miss a day of school and I wasn't opposed to missing a nice sunny day from work either.   Not many pictures of Seth, but the mural in the Safari exhibit was exceptional - painted by a visually impaired student.

2012 Winter Games

Seth participated in the 2012 Winter Games this last weekend. The first game was incredibly close and the kids played their hearts out. Unfortunately, we lost by 1 point in the last 15 seconds. : ( The second game did not go our way either. Our team took 4th place and we are very proud that they made it to State and even though we lost we enjoyed ourselves and the experience.

Seth, who told us he was not going to dance at the victory dance, did indeed get a groove on! He totally enjoyed his time on the dance floor and was famous for his "spin the girl" moves.
